A Message from the VP:
I am excited to share a more positive outlook as we close out this year. As many of you know, the insurance industry has faced significant challenges over the past several years. Tightened underwriting guidelines rising premiums and carriers exiting certain markets have reshaped the landscape in ways none of us expected. The last four years have truly tested our industry and those within it.
That said I am happy to report we are finally beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. While we are not completely in the clear the overall tone of the industry is shifting and there is a renewed sense of optimism moving forward.
As we wrap up another year, we are excited to reflect on the moments that made 2025 so meaningful both inside our agency and beyond. From professional milestones to personal celebrations this year was filled with growth connection and important steps forward.

Celebrating Five Years with Shannon and Sarah
This year we are proud to celebrate a major milestone for two incredible members of our team. Shannon and Sarah both marked their five year anniversary with the agency, and we could not be more grateful for the dedication expertise and heart they bring to our clients every single day.
Shannon is no stranger to the insurance world. Prior to joining our agency she gained valuable experience working for an insurance agency in her home state of Massachusetts. She began with us part time in May of 2020 and quickly transitioned into a full time role by July. Since then Shannon has built strong lasting relationships with our clients and has developed an impressive eye for coverages endorsements and overall policy structure. Her knowledge attention to detail and genuine care for those she serves make her an invaluable part of our team and we are excited to see all that she will continue to accomplish here.
Sarah joined the agency in 2020 stepping into a customer service role and immediately stood out for her work ethic and commitment to our clients. She earned her insurance license in 2021 and moved into an agent role where she continued to grow and thrive. Most recently in 2024 Sarah was promoted to Agency Manager, a role she has embraced with confidence leadership and vision.
She has achieved so much in such a short period of time and we can only imagine where the next five years will take her. We are incredibly thankful for Shannon and Sarah and the impact they have made over the past five years. Their growth reflects the strength of our agency and the bright future ahead.

Sydney & Jeanell Head to The Independent Agents of Virginia Convention
For the first time ever, Sydney convinced President Jeanell to head to the beach and attend a jam-packed insurance convention. The three-day event was action-packed – full of networking, education, and valuable industry insights. Between learning from insurance leaders and connecting with fellow independent agents, the experience left us energized and inspired to bring fresh ideas back to our clients and community.
Sydney Steps Into Industry Leadership
Following convention, Sydney saw firsthand the power and impact of the independent agency channel and felt called to be part of something bigger. She has since joined the Young Agents Committee and is excited to advocate for independent agencies and insurance legislation at the Day on the Hill in Richmond in 2026. This is just the beginning of something amazing—it’s time for the next generation of insurance leaders to step up, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Jennifer Welcomes Baby Sutton
Jennifer is thrilled to celebrate the arrival of her fifth grandbaby, Baby Sutton! As she heads into 2026, she’ll continue with a lightened schedule, skillfully balancing her role as a dedicated agent with the joys of being a grandma.
New Adventures for Shannon
This year was full of big emotions and exciting changes for Shannon. She hit the road for a memorable road trip with her 3 girls and also celebrated a major family milestone…sending her daughter off to college at Lynchburg University. A proud (and emotional!) moment that marks an exciting new chapter.
A Big Year for Sydney
This year Sydney celebrated a very special personal milestone with her marriage to her husband Dillon. The celebration took place at the beautiful Kingsmill, and the entire Teagle crew was in attendance to celebrate the newlyweds. It was a joyful occasion filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, and we could not be happier for the couple as they begin this new chapter together.
🐾Sarah’s New Furry Family Member
Sarah welcomed a new Labrador Retriever named Theo to her family this year. Theo joins his canine brother, Henry, bringing even more joy, energy (enphasis on the energy), and puppy love into their home.
Jeanell’s Grand Canyon Adventure
Not to be outdone, Jeanell checked a bucket-list destination off her list with a visit to the Grand Canyon. The trip was nothing short of breathtaking and well deserved!
As we look back, we’re reminded that our greatest strength isn’t just our experience or expertise, it’s our people. We’re grateful for a year filled with growth, leadership, milestones, and memories, and we’re incredibly thankful for our clients and community who support us every step of the way.
