Jeanell LaFata, President
After decades of leading the agency, Jeanell is now semi-retired and grateful to have passed the day-to-day reins to her daughter and Vice President, who leads the team with the same dedication and directness Jeanell has always valued.
Jeanell believes in honest conversations, hard work, and appreciating the people who give their best every single day. She says she’s, “deeply blessed with a team that makes this agency shine-whether I’m in the office or cheering them on from behind the scenes.”
Even while relaxing during the winter months down in Fort Myers, Jeanell stays closely connected to the agency-tending to emails, checking in with the VP, and keeping an eye on the agency’s goals and financials. Semi-retired doesn’t mean hands-off; it just means her office occasionally has an ocean breeze.

Sydney Wright, Vice President
Meet Sydney, our Vice President and the powerhouse behind the ideas, strategies, and day-to-day operations that keep our agency thriving. A marketing guru, problem solver, and natural leader, Sydney is equally at home crafting innovative solutions as she is helping clients find the right coverage and she might just sell a policy or two along the way.
Known for her transparent and genuine approach to the complex world of insurance, Sydney builds long-lasting relationships with clients. She communicates clearly, listens carefully, and isn’t afraid to advocate fiercely for those she serves. Going the extra mile isn’t just a goal, it’s her standard.
Outside of the agency, Sydney enjoys spending time on the water, hanging out at the Perch deck at YROC, boating, tackling house projects, and relaxing with her pups, Benny and Brownie. She also loves unwinding with a glass of wine from Zoll’s Vineyard on her back deck with her husband, Dillon.

Sarah Marks, Agency Manager/Agent
Sarah is our Producer and Agency Manager, who brings years of experience in the insurance industry. Licensed in Property & Casualty as well as Life & Annuities, she takes pride in helping clients feel secure and informed about their coverage. From identifying the best policy to guiding people through questions or complex situations. Sarah makes the process straightforward and stress-free.
In her day-to-day role, she supports clients with selecting appropriate coverage, managing policies, and resolving concerns with professionalism and care. Known for her expertise, patience, and commitment to exceeding expectations, Sarah thrives on building meaningful relationships and ensuring every client feels supported from start to finish.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys quality time with her two dogs, Henry and Theo, and cherishes moments spent with friends and family.

Jennifer Wright, Agent
Jennifer’s path into the insurance industry was guided by a lifelong passion for helping others. After years of raising and homeschooling her four children, she brought her patience, compassion, and problem-solving skills into a career centered on serving people. Jennifer believes insurance should feel personal, and she takes pride in building genuine relationships with her clients while guiding them toward coverage that truly protects what matters most to them.
Jennifer lives in Gloucester with her husband, John, and is deeply rooted in her community. Whether she’s spending time with family and friends, serving through her church, or lending a helping hand wherever it’s needed, Jennifer finds joy in supporting those around her. Her heart for service shines both in and out of the office, making her a trusted advocate and a caring presence for everyone she works with.

Shannon Conrow, Agent
Shannon’s passionate about helping individuals and families protect what matters most while also finding the best value along the way. She loves shopping and finding a great deal for her clients. She says, “that’s honestly one of my favorite parts of my job: comparing insurance carriers to make sure my clients get the right coverage at the right price.”
Outside of work, Shannon’s a busy mom of three daughters. Two attend Mathews high school, with her youngest playing volleyball and middle daughter serving as co-captain of the cheer squad. And her oldest is attending the University of Lynchburg and is part of the Bonner Club, focusing on service and community involvement—something very close to her heart as well.
Shannon spends free time volunteering with the Mathews High Athletics Booster Club. When she’s not at a game or practice, you’ll likely find her with hanging out her rescue dog from Puerto Rico, planning her next Disney trip, or dreaming about their family’s next cruise adventure.

Rachel Pitts, Accounts Administrator
Rachel is our accounts administrator. She joined the agency in 2023. Her day-to-day involves managing client accounts, processing endorsements, handling billing inquiries, and first and foremost delivering friendly, reliable
customer care.
Rachel handles all agency renewals, often working behind the scenes to ensure a smooth and easy renewal process for our clients. She acts as your advocate inside the agency by working directly with our carriers to secure solutions, providing coordination on your behalf, and most importantly addressing challenges before they arise.
Rachel grew up in Middlesex County. Outside of the agency she enjoys being outdoors, attending church, and spending time with the people she loves most.

Isabella Hogge, Client Services Coordinator
Isabella (Bella) is our newest member of #TeamTeagle and is a familar face you’ll see at our front desk. She is known for her warm communication style and her dedication to creating positive experiences for every client she supports. She is committed to growing in her role and never hesitates to ask thoughtful questions to expand her insurance knowledge.
Outside of work, Bella is enrolled at Rappahannock Community College, where she is pursuing a degree in cardiac sonography.
She loves spending her free time studying, relaxing with her boyfriend Mikey, being with family, and with her dog, Leo. In the summertime, you can usually find her at the beach, while winter is her season for cozy blankets, a hot Starbucks drink, and endless episodes of Gilmore Girls.

Benny
Benny began his career with Teagle Insurance in December of 2021 when he moved to Gloucester from Alexandria. He has a passion for the insurance industry and customer service. He’s always putting a smile on everyone’s faces!
When he’s not napping, he likes to check in on all the agents, collaborate in critical agency meetings, assist with reports and politely ask to be pet by co-workers and clients.
Outside of work, Benny enjoys spending time with his family, going on walks along Main Street and induldging in the occasional pup cup.
